A starting monthly price is only one part of the bill. Before choosing, write down the minimum term, setup or equipment fees and each dated price change.

Look across the whole term

In this preview, the fictional Meadow package is £27 for five months, £31 for twelve months and £35 for seven months, with no setup fee. Its mandatory term total is £752 over 24 months, or £31.33 as an average comparison figure. This is an illustrative example, not a current offer.

Keep optional extras separate

Equipment upgrades, entertainment bundles and conditional rewards should not be treated as guaranteed reductions in the contract total. Check whether a reward has eligibility conditions and when it is paid.

Ask about dated changes

A provider should make scheduled increases clear. Record the effective date and amount, then compare like with like across different minimum terms.
